Book launch: London, Oxford, HK

Dear Friends

After spending much of this year as a secluding writing hermit, I am delighted to share news with you that my Walking Home From Mongolia book is now finished.

It tells the story of my and Leon’s trials and tribulations as we walked 3,000 miles, from the Gobi Desert to Hong Kong. Our route took us along the Great Wall, past the frozen Yellow River, and through the toxic insides of China’s longest road tunnel. We encountered -30C blizzards, interrogations by the Chinese police, as well as the exuberant hospitality of desert nomads, cave dwellers and villagers.

The TV series has also been premiered on Nat Geo Adventure Channel in Australia and Asia. This November and December, I am delighted to invite you to the book and DVD launch.
