During his Cycling Home From Siberia expedition, Rob raised over £21,000 for the amazing children-at-risk charity Viva. He is now the Joint National Director of Viva’s Hong Kong office, which seeks to mobilise more funds, people and hearts for children at risk in Asia.

The heart of Viva’s vision is to see children at risk kept safe and healthy, given opportunities to learn and allowed the chance to play an active part in shaping their own futures.

Viva believes that the best way to make this vision a reality is for people to work together, combining their skills, ideas, manpower and resources.

Working in 14 different countries, supporting thousands of projects working with children at risk in 22 city-wide networks, Viva is currently working in the lives of more than 104,000 children across the globe. Find out more at www.viva.org.

Another charity that Rob supports, AbleChildAfrica, works with disabled children and young people in Africa.

AbleChildAfrica specialises exclusively in advocating for and supporting disabled children and disabled young people in Africa.  Their vision is a world in which all disabled children are able to achieve their full potential and fully participate in the world around them.  In order to achieve this AbleChildAfrica supports partner organisations to carry out life changing work with disabled children and disabled young people and work alongside them to use their experiences and learning to campaign for more widespread change in attitudes and practice.  AbleChildAfrica is currently working with 5 partner organisations in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania.
