At the end of 2025, I shared a brief summary on LinkedIn — just a handful of numbers and a short thank you. What felt like 42 seconds of reflection actually stands in for a year full of movement, connection, challenge, and meaning.
Here’s a little more of what those numbers actually represent — and why they matter.
35 Events
Each event was more than a date in a calendar.
They were moments of shared attention, curiosity, and growth.
In large organisations and small teams, I’m consistently struck by the same dynamic:
people aren’t looking for inspiration alone — they want meaning they can act on.
Whether the topic was resilience and agility, self-leadership, or prioritisation under pressure, the core desire is the same:
how do we stay effective and human in complexity?
At each event, leaders didn’t just show up — they engaged, reflected, experimented. That’s the difference between hearing a talk and using a talk to change behaviour.
10 Countries
From Asia to Europe and points in between, I had the privilege of working with teams facing different business realities, cultural contexts, and organisational structures.
And yet some themes were universal:
- the need for clarity in uncertainty
- the struggle to balance speed with human energy
- the challenge of meaningful prioritisation
- the hunger for tools that support real resilience and agility
As a motivational speaker, that global diversity keeps me humbler and sharper with every conversation.
8,000+ People
Behind that number are individuals at very real inflection points in their careers and lives.
Geographically distant but experientially close:
- teams learning how to adapt faster
- leaders learning how to lead differently
- people learning how to centre themselves amid competing demands
This isn’t about applause or reach.
It’s about connection, learning, and subtle internal shifts that ripple outward through teams, communities, and organisations.
Thank You
Thank you to every organisation and team in 2025 that trusted me with their people.
Thank you for:
- your openness
- your vulnerability
- your willingness to lean into difficult conversations
- your curiosity about resilient leadership and self-leadership in complex environments
Thank you for proving again that motivation alone isn’t enough — but when combined with self-awareness, structure, and relational courage, it becomes something that lasts.
Looking Ahead to 2026
I’m excited for what’s next: more learning, more shared discovery, and more opportunities to help organisations build resilience, agility, and practical personal effectiveness.
Here’s a short clip reflecting on the year — 42 seconds I’m deeply grateful for:
See you in 2026.
