Great fun to give a speech to the excellent data management software company Cohesity last week.
They are a company determined to thrive amid the pandemic.
One thing we reflected on was how to find opportunities in the midst of obstacles.
There often are opportunities in tough times, but we must have the right mindset in order to find them, and make the most of them.
In my work, as a conference speaker, there has obviously been a bit of a big obstacle in the form of 2020’s conferences being entirely cancelled.
But instead, there has come along the opportunity for virtual events. We have had to work hard, but we have developed a new product, and learnt a lot of new “virtual skills”.
